The “Facilitated Tourism” conference discusses legislation and hospitality services for people of determination

The activities of the “International Travel and Tourism Conference” will be launched in Dubai next month in its fifth session, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Chairman of the Dubai Airports Corporation, Supreme President of the CEO of Emirates Airlines and the group.
A statement, issued yesterday, stated that the conference, which will be organized on the seventh and eighth of next October, at the Dubai World Trade Center, aims to enhance legislation, policies, infrastructure and service, especially in the areas of air, land and maritime mobility, in addition to residence and hospitality services to meet the needs of 1.3 billion people of determination.
His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed said: “The conference aims to collect decision makers and experts in the field of facilitated tourism and tourism under one roof to share the minds and get to know best practices, to enhance the facilitated tourism industry, and to shed light on Dubai and the UAE’s achievements as a leading country in which people of determination have a special priority.”
His Highness added: “I am proud to choose Dubai as a friendly city for children from the autism spectrum, and also the choice of (Emirates Airlines) and (Dubai Airports) accompanied by two friends, and this comes as the result of continuous efforts from joint work and our commitment to enabling those who are determined to move forward on the way to become Dubai and the Emirates the best destination in the world for tourism services.”
His Highness called for the concerted international efforts, to ensure that it is easily accessible tourism for more than a billion people around the world, wishing the participants in the conference to succeed in their efforts and efforts.
For his part, the Secretary -General of the conference, Ghassan Suleiman, said that “the tourism industry needs more than ever to adopt the concept of (comprehensive tourism) that meets the aspirations of millions of people of determination, from the moment they think about the launch on a tourist trip until the moment of reaching the intended destination and returning from it, relying on this on the application of a series of relevant legislation, solutions, smart applications and distinguished services in the transportation sectors Hospitality, communication and qualified human competencies, in order to continue growth and double the size of this industry in the coming years.
He added that “the stakeholders in the travel and tourism chain need to work together to remove the obstacles that prevent travel, especially in light of international support for the rights of this segment by smooth movement.”
The conference includes a session entitled “Lessons from Dubai” with the participation of “Emirates Airlines”, “Dubai Airports”, the Roads and Transport Authority and the Department of Economy and Tourism, to review the most prominent local experiences that made Dubai a leading model in this sector.
The World Health Organization estimates that the owners of determination constitute 15% of the world’s population, or about 1.3 billion people, likely to increase the number to two billion people by 2050, while the European Network for Facilitated Tourism confirms that 257 million tourists are looking for easily accessible destinations, which opens broad horizons for the global tourism sector, to enhance its economic and social role.
