The “population clock” in Dubai exceeds 4 million people

The “population clock” indicators for monitoring the population variables through the Dubai Data and Statistics Corporation recorded an accelerated growth at large rates to exceed the barrier of 4 million people, achieving an increase of 5161 people in only a week.

The indicators, which were monitored by «Emirates Today», showed that the population of the emirate until yesterday afternoon reached 4.003,643 million, compared to 3.998,482 million people during the past week, to reach unprecedented and higher rates historically in the emirate’s population.

The population indicators through the Dubai Data and Statistics Corporation revealed that the population of Dubai reached the middle of last week, 3,998,482 million, and the population in the first quarter of this year exceeded the barrier of 3.96 million people, at a daily increase rate of 567 people.

The population of the Emirate of Dubai achieved an increase last year by 5.5%, by 208.6 thousand people, to 3.86 million people, compared to 3.66 million people by the end of 2023.

International reports during the recent period revealed that investment rates have increased from different nationalities in the real estate sector in Dubai, as well as attracting the emirate to a large number of businessmen and entrepreneurs from Europe and a number of countries in the world to move to live in Dubai, in light of the gravity provided by the emirate from the development and quality of infrastructure and high safety rates, increasing and ease of residence and business opportunities in various sectors.

According to indicators issued by the Dubai Data and Statistics Corporation, the male population in the Emirate of Dubai reached 2.7 million by the end of the year 2024, to represent about 69% of the total population, while the number of females reached about 1.2 million.

The Dubai Data and Statistics Corporation is calculating the daily and monthly estimates of the residents of the Emirate of Dubai residing permanently within the geographical borders of the emirate, whether they are Emiratis or non -Emiratis. The center is based on calculating the instant change of the population through the population hour on many sources such as the surveys, census and the rules of relevant government agencies.
