Trump waving customs duties on semiconductor imports

US President Donald Trump waved customs definitions on his country’s imports of chips and semi -conductors, noting the exemption of giant companies such as “Apple”, which pledged to enhance their investments in the United States.

“We will soon impose customs duties, it will not be very large but it will be relatively large,” Trump said on the sidelines of a dinner party held yesterday evening in the White House in honor of a number of senior heads of technology companies in the United States.

Trump reassured American companies by saying that “the good news for companies like Apple is that if you build factories in the United States or stick to that, you will not have to pay.”
