Putin insists on an interview with Zelinski in Moscow

Russian President Vladimir Putin has rejected calls to meet his Ukrainian counterpart, Folodimir Zellinski, at the headquarters of negotiations abroad.
Putin said in an economic forum in “Vladivostok” that if Zellinski wants to meet him, but at the same time he asked to travel to a place to attend the meeting, so he asks very much. He added, “The best place for this (meeting) is the capital of the Russian Federation, the valiant city of Moscow.”
Zellinski has previously rejected plans to hold a meeting in Moscow. According to Ukrainian sources, there are seven countries willing to host the summit.
Putin insisted on hosting Moscow for negotiations, as suggested during his visit to China earlier this week.
He pointed out that the safety of the guests will be 100%guaranteed. The Ukrainian Security Agency stated that it had thwarted several attempts to assassinate Zelinski since the beginning of the Russian -Ukrainian war in February 2022.
Holding the talks in Moscow would strengthen the Kremlin’s position, which still sees itself as the owner of preference on the front.
