Emirates/Agenda full of exhibitions and major events during the last quarter of 2025

Abu Dhabi, September 6 / WAM / The UAE is witnessing a large variety of events, exhibitions and specialized economic conferences during the last quarter of this year, which strengthens its position as a pivotal center for the exhibition and conference industry in the region and the world, and contributes to enhancing its economic growth.
Events vary to include the energy, aviation, finances, technology, tourism and hospitality sectors, and other areas of life.
The specialized economic events that lead the momentum in the fourth quarter of this year include “Witix and Dubai for solar energy”, which starts on September 30 and continues until October 2, 2025 at the Dubai World Trade Center, in parallel with the Grand Global Economy Summit on the first and second of October.
During the period from 13 to 17 October, the “GITEX Global” work will be held at the Dubai World Trade Center, while the “Expand North Star” activities will start in Dubai Harbor between 12 and 15 of the same month, with a wide focus on artificial intelligence and digital economy.
The Dubai Aviation Exhibition 2025 will start between 17 and 21 November, as a major platform for aviation and space, as will start from 24 to 27 November next, one of the largest exhibitions of the construction and construction sector “Big Five” at the Dubai World Trade Center.
In Abu Dhabi, the agenda of the last quarter of 2025 includes a group of comprehensive major events such as “Atesse 2025”, which will be held from 3 to 6 November 2025, and Abu Dhabi Financial Week will be held from 8 to 11 December next as the largest regional financial demonstration that brings together investment and market leaders.
The Abu Dhabi International Boat Exhibition, which is held between 20 and 23 November 2025, is a global opportunity to see the latest innovations in the field of boat, and brings together a group of the best brands and specialists in the sector from all over the world.
The 2024 economic impact report of the Dubai World Trade Center confirmed the contribution of the Great Dubai World Trade Center to the Dubai economy, by hosting 100 events that included major exhibitions, meetings of international societies and global conferences, an increase of 32% on an annual basis.
Dubai was chosen as the best shopping destination and the best exhibition destination in the 31st session of the World Travel Awards ceremony held in November 2024.
In Abu Dhabi, the ADNEC Group achieved the highest economic contribution in its history, as its total contribution amounted to 8.5 billion dirhams in favor of the UAE economy during the year 2024, bypassing the number registered in 2023 of 7.4 billion dirhams.
The global “STR”, which specializes in hotel studies and consulting, has repeatedly pointed to the impact of major events on the hotel sector in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
According to the study of the economic impact of the exhibition industry worldwide in 2024 issued by the World Exhibition Industry and Oxford Economics, the direct impact of exhibitions involves the participation of approximately 318 million visitors in international exhibitions, with 5 million exhibitions, while these exhibitions contributed about 162.3 billion dollars as direct expenses for visitors, and supported 1.8 million direct jobs globally.
The study showed that the total effect is “direct and indirect” for exhibitions amounting to more than 398 billion dollars, 4.3 million jobs, and 233.1 billion dollars as a total contribution to GDP.
Ahmed Al -Khawafi, General Manager of HPE technology in the UAE and Africa, said that the conference and exhibition industry is one of the basic pillars of the UAE economy, as it contributes to enhancing the competitiveness of the state and affirming its position as a global center for business, technology and innovation.
He added that the UAE has proven its ability to host major activities that bring together the leaders of thought and the pioneers of different sectors from all over the world, which opens wide horizons for investment partnerships and exchange of knowledge and experiences.
For his part, Emile Bishy, ​​an economic expert, said that the conference and exhibition industry plays a pivotal role in the UAE economy, and the consolidation of its position as a global center for trade, business and innovation, as well as its role in opening wide horizons for investments and sustainable development.
The UAE has proven its ability to make conference and exhibition industry an essential tributary to its diverse economy, as these activities have become a platform that combines innovation, communication and the formulation of the future of different sectors.
