The UAE supports Egypt’s efforts and condemns Netanyahu’s statements regarding the displacement of the Palestinians

The UAE affirmed its full standing alongside the Arab Republic of Egypt, appreciating its ongoing efforts to support the Palestinian people, confront attempts to displace them, and seeking to reach an immediate ceasefire and alleviate the suffering of civilians.

The UAE condemned the statements of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu regarding the displacement of Palestinians from the Gaza Strip, considering that it represents a dangerous extension of the occupation policies, and renewed its condemnation of all attempts to displacement targeting the brotherly Palestinian people.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed that these false calls are a flagrant violation of international law and United Nations decisions, and a blatant transgression against the right of the Palestinian people to stay at home and establish an independent sovereign state.

The UAE has renewed its categorical rejection of all attempts to displace or liquidate the Palestinian issue, stressing that preserving the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people is no longer a political choice but rather a moral, humanitarian and legal commitment, and that there is no stability in the region except through the solution of the two states and the establishment of an independent and sovereign Palestinian state, in accordance with the relevant international legitimacy resolutions.
