Abu Dhabi, September 7 / WAM / Al -Saqqara was strengthened by its presence in the 22nd edition of the Abu Dhabi International Fishing and Equestrian Show, where the participation of the global falcons farms witnessed an estimated sign of four times compared to last year.
The farmer included a group of the most prominent institutions specialized in hawk education at the Emirates level, such as KH Falcon, Al -Sirmean Falcon, and AD Falcon, as well as many other leading farms.
Hadi Al -Mansouri, owner of KH Falcons, stressed that the falconry in the Emirates is an essential part of the national identity and our ancient heritage, noting that the falcons farms play an important role in preserving and developing this art.
He pointed out that the Abu Dhabi exhibition is an ideal platform for displaying distinctive falcons in front of a global audience, which enhances the international presence of the sector and stimulates innovation in it.
Al -Mansouri pointed out that his company pays great attention to attracting rare strains, and aims to develop new strains that reflect the highest standards of health, skill and beauty, stressing the importance of consolidating a prosperous future for this art for future generations.
For its part, companies such as “Al -Shaheen” and “GWR Fallon” contribute to enriching the exhibition’s activities, as “G -Rir Fallon” is characterized by the diversity of their strains and their interest in preserving originality and global spread.
The birds offered by the company play multiple roles, whether on fishing trips or falcon races, and their prices range from 5,000 dirhams for some types to more than a million dirhams for some rare breeds.
The company was able to sell 25 birds during the exhibition activities, which reflects the increasing interest in this heritage art.
This growth in local and international participation reflects a global recovery in the attractiveness of falconry, while the weekly auctions in the exhibition give a vibrant nature, which encourages the exchange of birds between the owners.
The exhibition provides the participants a rich experience that enables them to interact with a living tradition rooted in the Emirates culture, and discovering the details of the world of hawks raising and training, which enhances awareness of the Emirates identity and its authentic spirit.
