Our Olympic team meets Iran tomorrow at the end of the Asian Cup under -23 qualifiers
Abu Dhabi, September 8/ WAM/ Our Olympic National Football team will meet tomorrow, with the Iranian national team at Al Nahyan Stadium in Abu Dhabi at 9:30 pm Emirates time, in the meeting of the third round of the ninth group of qualifiers for the Asian Cup U -23 finals scheduled for next year in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Our national team tops the group’s table with 6 points, which is the same balance of Iran, but with the advantage of the goals of our national team, while the Games and Hong Kong team are still without a balance of points so far with their meeting tomorrow.
The national team defeated its counterpart Game in the first match, with a score of 13-0, and in the second match against Hong Kong, a score of 2-0.
Our national team concludes its training today in preparation for the match that will determine the identity of the qualifying for the Asian U -23 Cup, as it qualifies for the finals with the first places in the 11 groups, in addition to the best 4 teams that occupy the second place, to join the Saudi “host” team for the tournament.
The current qualifiers are organized with record participation with 44 teams that were distributed to 11 groups, and their matches are held in the gathering system.
