"Abu Dhabi boats" Participates in the final rounds of the Formula 2 World Cup
Abu Dhabi, September 10/ WAM/ The Abu Dhabi fast bocks team participates in the “Fourth and Five” Championships of the World Formula 2 World Championships, in the cities of Bizo and Filville, in Portugal.
The “Best Time” race will start next Saturday, to the main race for the fourth round on Sunday, while the last round competitions will be held on September 20 and 21.
The Abu Dhabi team, the global champion Rashid Al -Qamzi, and his contemporary teammate Salem Al -Yafi, who is running his first season with the team in this category after his first participation in the last round in Italy, while the mission is headed by Nasser Al Dhaheri, director of the Marine Sports Department at the club, and also includes Jumaa Al Qubaisi, “Radio Man”.
The previous round of the championship was canceled in the Italian city of San Nazaro, due to the disturbance of water currents, to keep the competition open to the first places in the overall ranking.
Frenchman Peter Mourin is currently leading the table with 30 points, followed by Swedish Helmer and Eberg, a summer with 24 points, and the British Matthew in Virman, third with 22 points.
Thani Al -Qamzi, Director of the Abu Dhabi Fast boats, stressed that participation in the final two rounds of Portugal represents an important station in the team’s journey this season, to return to the podiums and score points, to stay in the competition circle for the title, after extensive preparations, and accurate technical equipment for the boats.
