The Minister of Tourism receives the CEO of Majid Al Futtaim Holding Group

Mrs. Fatima bint Jaafar Al -Serafi, Minister of Tourism, received Mr. Ahmed Jalal Ismail, CEO of Majid Al Futtaim Holding Group, in the presence of Mr. Khaled Al -Ajmi, Regional President in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Kingdom of Bahrain, the State of Kuwait and the State of Qatar.

During the meeting, the Minister affirmed the tourism sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain to strengthen strategic partnerships with major regional and global investment groups, noting that such partnerships in the tourism fields contribute to supporting the Kingdom’s efforts to establish its position as a leading tourist destination. Noting the role of cooperation with the Al-Futtaim Group in supporting sustainable tourism development in the Kingdom, and in achieving the targets of the tourism strategy 2022-2026.

For his part, Mr. Ahmed Jalal Ismail expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the Ministry of Tourism and the Bahrain Authority for Tourism and Exhibitions in promoting the attractive environment for tourism investment in the Kingdom, stressing the aspiration of the Majid Al -Futtaim Group to expand areas of cooperation in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
