The Head of State and the King of Morocco discuss regional developments by telephone
Abu Dhabi, March 14/ / His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him,” received today a phone call from his brother, His Majesty King Mohammed VI, King of the sisterly Kingdom of Morocco, during which they discussed the developments taking place in the region and their dangerous repercussions on regional and international security and stability.
The call also addressed the blatant and ongoing Iranian attacks targeting the UAE and a number of sister countries in the region. His Majesty renewed his condemnation of the attacks that constitute a violation of the sovereignty of states and international conventions. He stressed Morocco’s solidarity with the UAE regarding all measures it takes to protect its security and the safety of its citizens.
For his part, His Highness expressed his thanks to His Majesty for Morocco’s position in support of the UAE
The two sides also stressed the need to give priority to serious dialogue and diplomatic means in addressing the region’s issues in a way that preserves its security and stability and guarantees the safety of its peoples.
