The Head of State and the King of Morocco discuss regional developments by telephone

Today, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, received a phone call from his brother, King Mohammed VI, King of the sisterly Kingdom of Morocco, during which they discussed the developments taking place in the region and their dangerous repercussions on regional and international security and stability.

The call also addressed the blatant and ongoing Iranian attacks targeting the UAE and a number of sister countries in the region, and the King of Morocco renewed his condemnation of the attacks that represent a violation of the sovereignty of states and international conventions, stressing Morocco’s solidarity with the UAE regarding all the measures it takes to protect its security and the safety of its citizens.

For his part, His Highness expressed his thanks to the King and Morocco’s position in support of the UAE

The two sides also stressed the need to give priority to serious dialogue and diplomatic means in addressing the region’s issues in a way that preserves its security and stability and guarantees the safety of its peoples.
