"Interior" The (20) meeting of the Security Media Committee in the Cooperation Council states is participating in the meeting

Kuwait, September 11 / WAM / The Ministry of Interior, represented by the Security Information Administration in the General Administration of Security Support, participated in the twentieth meeting of the Security Media Committee in the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, on the sidelines of the workshop preparing the Gulf strategic plan to combat money laundering crimes, held in the sisterly State of Kuwait under the organization of the General Secretariat of the Cooperation Council for the Arab Gulf States, and in cooperation with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime.

This meeting comes as an affirmation of the commitment of the GCC states to enhance cooperation and security media integration, and to unify the common visions and strategies, in a way that contributes to supporting security efforts and keeping pace with the accelerating challenges, especially in the field of combating money laundering and organized crime.

The meeting dealt with a number of important topics, including ways to enhance the Gulf media partnership, unify educational media plans, and develop communication channels with the public, in addition to reviewing the frameworks of cooperation in supporting the comprehensive Gulf strategy to combat money laundering.
