Empowering entrepreneurs on the agenda of the World Postal Union Conference

Dubai, September 12/ WAM/ The 28th World Postal Union Conference, hosted by the UAE with the participation of delegations from 192 member states in the Federation, is a global platform to discuss the main strategies that contribute to drawing the features of the postal sector worldwide, with a focus on filling the gap in front of business leaders and enabling them to reach global trade networks, and benefit from advanced digital infrastructure, and comprehensive financial services.

These discussions are of special importance in terms of timing, in light of the growing businesswomen’s participation in the global e -commerce market, which opens promising horizons for the postal sector to accelerate the pace of progress by employing its logistical network and its financial and digital services to enable business entrepreneurs to expand their business and engage effectively in the global economic system.

In the UAE, the women’s entrepreneurship sector is witnessing remarkable growth, supported by policies and initiatives that promote the presence of projects led by women, in line with the national policy of empowering women in the UAE 2023-2031, as data indicate that Emirati women today possess more than 128,500 facilities of small and medium enterprises and supervise more than 135,000 projects in various parts of the country, while Entrepreneurs in the Emirates are 18% of the total entrepreneurial segment.

Tariq Ahmed Al -Wahidi, President of the twenty -eighth conference and CEO of X -7x (7X), said that hosting the World Postal Federation conference in Dubai embodies the UAE’s firm commitment to the approach of innovation, sustainability and global partnership, and reflects our belief that building an interconnected world is based on an advanced infrastructure and future policies that enhance the capabilities of societies and the prosperity of economies, and provides opportunities and prospects without borders.

Based on its strategy to support small and medium companies, Sven 7X (7X) continues to develop innovative platforms, most notably “NXN”, the National Network for Logistics Services, which brings together service providers within one network that facilitates access to postal and logistical services, in addition to “a mail link”, the innovative concept launched by the group during the conference to be the first global digital market that collects postal networks and enables Expatible Trade.
