The launch of the “I am the peacemaker” movement in Dubai with the participation of international personalities

Dubai has established its position as a global center for dialogue and human convergence, with the announcement of the launch of the “I am the Maker of the Peace Maker” movement, during a ceremony that witnessed the presence of prominent international figures of decision -makers and humanitarian pioneers, along with two Nobel Peace Prize.

The ceremony witnessed the participation of Dr. Hudhayfah Khurakuala, founder of the movement and executive director of the “Wakharte” group, alongside Professor Mohan Mona Singie, who won the Nobel Peace Prize in 2007, and Awed Bushmawi, who won the award in 2015, and with the participation of the Secretary -General of the Higher Committee for the Humanitarian Brotherhood in Abu Dhabi, Dr. Khaled Ghanem Al -Ghaith, in addition to a group of international leaders.
In his speech, Khurakuala stressed that peace is a “collective commitment” and not a long -standing dream, pointing out that Dubai represents an ideal platform for launching this initiative as the Forum of Cultures and Ideas and a place where dialogues turn into actions.

He announced 12 major initiatives within the movement, including attracting about two million supporters through digital platforms, preparing for the “billionaire for peace” summit in February 2026, and expanding the network of international and influential actors, in order to enhance the values ​​of mercy, justice and unity in the world.

Khorakuala said: “The vision of the rational leadership in the UAE, represented by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, established established foundations for tolerance and coexistence that the world has not witnessed anywhere, as it is time for peace to turn from a mere speech into a daily practice in our homes, institutions and governments.”

For his part, Professor Mona Singhi explained that building peace is not limited to stopping conflicts, but also includes establishing economic justice, environmental care, and promoting social integration.

In turn, Dr. Khaled Al -Ghaith stressed that hosting the event in the UAE reflects its firm commitment to dialogue, understanding and harmony between peoples.

The movement’s launch comes as an extension of the World Peace Summit hosted by Dubai last April, and it gathered 12 Nobel Prize holders in an unprecedented event, and the preliminary ceremony for the “billionaire for peace” summit is expected next year.
