The UAE receives wanted persons to the Swedish authorities

The Ministry of the Interior handed over, accused wanted by the authorities in the Kingdom of Sweden, after they were arrested by the Dubai Police General Command based on a red newsletter issued by the International Criminal Police Organization “INTERPOL”.

The defendants are among the most wanted persons for the Swedish authorities on charges of illegal firearms trafficking.

The delivery came after the issuance of a judicial ruling and a decision of the Ministry of Justice to hand them over, as an affirmation of the state’s commitment to international legal procedures.

The Ministry of Interior affirmed its commitment to combating cross -border crime and enhancing international cooperation, in a way that contributes to protecting societies, consolidating justice, and promoting security and stability at the international level.
