Al-Akkamiya Council celebrates the return of pilgrims
Fujairah, June 4 / WAM / The activities of the community initiative “Fujairah Celebrates the Pilgrims of the Holy House of God”, organized by the Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi Council, continued, as the Al Akamiya Council hosted the reception of pilgrims returning from the Holy Land.
The event included a number of traditional and popular aspects, in a way that reflects the community’s keenness to revive popular heritage and preserve social customs associated with this blessed occasion.
The returning pilgrims expressed their happiness with this community initiative, extending their highest thanks and appreciation to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, for his continuous support for community initiatives and his keenness to consolidate the values of interdependence and love among the people of society.
