Bella Roma Hospital receives JCI accreditation for its commitment to the highest standards of quality and patient safety

Bella Roma Specialized Hospital in Dubai announced that it has obtained Joint Commission International (JCI) accreditation for the second time in a row, an achievement that reflects continued commitment to the highest standards of quality, patient safety and institutional excellence.
JCI accreditation is considered one of the most respected international health accreditations in the world, as it is granted to health institutions that succeed in passing a comprehensive and accurate evaluation covering hundreds of standards related to patient safety, quality of health care, and risk management, in addition to the efficiency of clinical procedures, patients’ rights, and continuous improvement and development.

Trust of patients and customers
The accreditation also represents a global indicator of the reliability of Bella Roma Specialized Hospital and its ability to provide services consistent with international best practices, which enhances the confidence of patients, customers and partners, and supports Dubai’s position as a leading regional and global destination for medical tourism and specialized health care.

Applying the highest quality standards
Rod Abdel Qader, founder and CEO of Bella Roma Specialized Hospital, said that the accreditation of Bella Roma Hospital by the Joint Commission International (JCI) embodies the hospital’s continued commitment to applying the highest international standards in quality, patient safety and institutional excellence. This achievement also comes as an extension of the exceptional environment provided by the UAE, and the vision of its wise leadership that established an advanced global model for health care, and made Dubai a leading destination that attracts talent, investments and patients from all over the world.
She stressed that this accreditation is a renewed responsibility to continue improving Bella Roma’s services and enhancing the confidence of patients who have chosen the hospital as a destination for their health care. She stressed that she will continue to invest in medical competencies and advanced technologies and develop the work system in line with best international practices, and contribute to supporting Dubai’s growing position as a global center for medical tourism and specialized health services, in line with the country’s ambitious vision of building a world-class health sector.
This accreditation comes as a distinguished milestone in a journey that began in 2010 when Rod Abdel Qader established a medical center specializing in cosmetics with an ambitious vision based on providing advanced health services in accordance with the highest international standards.
With the continuous growth and expansion of services and specializations, the center was transformed in 2018 into an integrated specialty hospital, and today it has become one of the most prominent institutions specialized in plastic surgery and aesthetic medicine in the region.

Increasing medical tourism
Bella Roma Hospital attracts more than 70% of its patients from outside the UAE, which reflects the growing international confidence it enjoys, and contributes to supporting the country’s efforts to consolidate its position as a global center for health care and medical tourism.
Since its establishment, Bella Roma Specialized Hospital has performed more than 110,000 cosmetic surgeries, at a rate of more than 7,400 procedures annually, and offers a comprehensive package of services, including facial and rhinoplasty surgeries, face and neck lifts, breast plastic surgeries, body sculpting and liposuction using the latest technologies, in addition to a wide range of non-surgical cosmetic procedures, providing clients with an integrated treatment experience that combines medical expertise and modern technologies.

A system for efficient procedures
The hospital implements an advanced patient safety system that includes precise protocols to verify the efficiency of medical procedures, medication management, clinical control, and follow-up of patients after operations, in addition to advanced digital systems for managing health records to keep pace with the latest requirements of digital transformation in the health sector.
The hospital includes more than 100 qualified medical, administrative and technical personnel, working within an institutional environment based on quality, innovation and continuous improvement, ensuring the provision of health services that keep pace with the aspirations of patients from inside and outside the country.
