The aggression against Qatar undermines peace opportunities

The most prominent contents of the draft of the closing statement issued by the exceptional Arab -Islamic Summit to discuss the Israeli aggression against Qatar revealed its full and absolute rejection of the repeated Israeli threats of the possibility of targeting the State of Qatar again or any Arab or Islamic country, considering those threats a serious provocation and escalation that threatens international peace and security, and the statement also urged the international community to condemn it in the strongest terms and take deterrent measures Certainly to stop it.
The same statement stressed that the “brutal” Israeli aggression against Qatar, and the continuation of aggressive Israeli practices, including genocide, ethnic cleansing, starvation, siege, and expansionist settlement and political activities, all undermine the chances of achieving peace and peaceful coexistence in the region, and threatening everything that has been accomplished on the path of establishing normal relations with Israel.

The meeting with the Doha Summit stressed that this “aggression on the Qatari lands – especially as it is a country that works as a major mediator in the efforts made to secure the ceasefire and end the war on Gaza, and the release of hostages and prisoners – represents a serious escalation and an attack on diplomatic efforts to restore peace.

He also praised the “civilized, wise, and responsible” position that the State of Qatar pursued in its dealings with this “treacherous” attack, and its steadfast commitment to the provisions of international law, its insistence on preserving its sovereignty and security and defending its rights by all legitimate means, and the statement also supported the efforts made by mediation countries, led by Qatar, Egypt and America to stop the aggression on the Gaza Strip, and emphasize in this context the constructive role that it plays Doha, describing its efforts in the field of mediation and its positive effects in supporting efforts to establish security, stability and peace.
He also renewed his praise for the multiple initiatives made by the State of Qatar at the regional and international levels, especially in the fields of humanitarian aid and support for education in developing and poor countries, in order to enhance its position as an active and supportive party for peace and development at the regional and international levels.
In the same context, the draft of the Doha summit definitely rejected attempts to justify what it described as aggression under any pretext, and the emphasis that it constitutes a blatant violation of international law and the United Nations Charter, and directly aims to undermine efforts, and the existing mediators aimed at stopping the aggression on the Gaza Strip, and thwarting serious efforts to reach a fair and comprehensive political solution that ends the occupation and ensures the end of the suffering of the Palestinian people His legitimate, non -behavioral rights.
