The Ministry of Defense delegation offers condolences to the death of Awad Muhammad Al -Khalidi, the first chief of staff

Al -Mafraq on September 14 / WAM / Colonel Ali Saif Al -Kaabi, the military attache of the United Arab Emirates in the sisterly Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, accompanied by a military delegation from the Emirates Military Attaché in Amman, today, the duty of condolences in the town of Khalidiya in Mafraq Governorate, on the death of Lieutenant General Awad Muhammad Al -Khalidi, the first chief of staff of the UAE armed forces who passed away last Friday after a march full of work and giving in Defense, security and diplomatic fields.
The delegation transferred my sincere condolences and sympathy to the leadership, government and people of the UAE to His Majesty King Abdullah II Bin Al -Hussein, King of the sisterly Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and to the family of the deceased and his family, praying to God Almighty to bless him with the mercy of his mercy and to dwell in his spacious gardens, and to inspire his family and his family with patience and solace.
Lieutenant General Awad Muhammad Al -Khalidi is one of the first generation of Arab military leaders who contributed to building and developing defense and security institutions in the region.
As the first chief of staff of the Emirati armed forces since the founding of the state, the deceased contributed to the development of the first building blocks of the modern Emirati army, in cooperation with the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and King Hussein bin Talal, may God bless them, to establish decades of distinguished defense and military cooperation between the two brotherly countries.
This cooperation embodies the deep fraternal ties between the leadership of the two countries that Sheikh Zayed and King Hussein, may God have mercy on them, have developed during the era of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him”, and His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein, King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, to include various defense and security fields, in a way that serves joint Arab security.
