"Mohammed bin Rashid Project Development" Collaborate with "Kitopi" To support national talents

Dubai, September 15 / WAM / The Mohammed bin Rashid Foundation for Small and Medium Enterprises Development, one of the institutions of the Department of Economy and Tourism in Dubai, revealed its cooperation with the Kitobi company, operating in the food and beverage sector in the region that focuses on local signs, to launch the “UAE Chef Table” initiative to guide in the food and beverage sector.
This cooperation aims to enable Emirati home projects, support their growth and sustainability, and develop talents in this vital sector, which is in line with the targets of the Dubai Economic Agenda “D33”, aimed at establishing the city’s position as the most attractive business centers for small and medium -sized companies and Emirati entrepreneurs.
The first batch of the program includes five Emirati entrepreneurs in the food and beverage sector, who will receive vocational guidance and support for their projects through a group of experts and specialists, which contributes to developing their skills and strengthening their network of relationships with prominent parties in the public and private sectors within the country, and they will also benefit from investment opportunities to support the growth of their projects and expand their scope.
Their entrepreneurial journey will also be highlighted through promotional campaigns that showcase their inspiring stories and the stages of the development of their works, from their early beginnings until they reach advanced stages in providing innovative and unique dishes and items.
Ahmed Al -Rum Al -Muhairi, Acting Director of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Foundation for Small and Medium Enterprises Development, said that human capital is the most prominent and most important main elements supporting the Dubai Economic Agenda “D33”, and the launch of the UAE Chef Table Table initiative to reflect the Foundation’s commitment to develop national talents in line with the market requirements, and this cooperation with Kitobi exceeds the traditional concept of practical counseling programs, it contributes to it, it contributes to it. In enhancing confidence in talented Emirati chefs, as well as providing them with valuable guidelines and practical opportunities to achieve success and growth.
He added that the Foundation seeks, through highlighting their skills and telling their stories to transform their passion into successful and sustainable commercial projects, as its goal is to pave the way for talented citizens to be able to develop and expand, and thus contribute to enhancing the growth of the food and beverage sector in Dubai.

The food and beverage sector represents one of the main economic pillars in Dubai, as the contribution of the residence and food services sector to the gross domestic product during the first quarter of 2025 to 4.1% at 4.9 billion dirhams, with expectations that the emirate’s focus on innovation and entrepreneurship will contribute in parallel with the growing levels of global demand with increasing growth in the sector.
Members who are practicing their commercial activity in the food and beverage sector constitute about 12% of the members of the Mohammed bin Rashid Foundation for Small and Medium Enterprises Development.
