Educational and cultural workshops attract an audience "The full moon festival"

Fujairah on September 16/ WAM/ A series of educational and educational workshops were launched yesterday, Monday, within the activities of the fifth day of Al -Badr Festival in its fourth session.
The first workshops, which were held in cooperation with the Arab Poetry House in Fujairah under the title “Fears and Poetry in the Love of the Mukhtar”, targeted children and school students, and presented by Muhammad Al -Mutiam, the director of publishing in the Arab Poetry Department, to celebrate the prophetic biography and the merits of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him.
The circuit prepared a special book accompanying the workshop that included a selection of poems that dealt with the noble prophetic biography, written by a group of the most prominent Arab poets, including the Prince of Poets Ahmed Shawky, Jamal Al -Mulla from the Sultanate of Oman, Muhammad Abdul Bari from Sudan, Abdullah Al -Bardouni from Yemen, and the Egyptian poet Ahmed Bakhit.
While Chinese actress Lin Wang presented a workshop entitled “A needle over a thousand years”, during which she shed light on the art of “Ben Shu”, which is the art of embroidery with the needle that grew up in the Chinese city of Kaveneg more than 1000 years ago, specifically during the Song Dynasty, and the workshop included a vivid presentation of the most famous traditional stitches with direct practical applications with the participation of the attendees.
Participants in the workshop emphasized their importance in highlighting one of the oldest Chinese arts, in addition to its role in promoting cultural exchange between peoples, pointing out that such interactive activities contribute to moving the human heritage of new generations, and enhancing the values of mutual respect between civilizations.
On the other hand, the Badr Festival exhibitions continue to provide exceptional artistic experiences that are beautiful and creative, as a remarkable turnout from the fans and visitors of the festival from inside and outside Fujairah, and the exhibition “The Glow of Maqamat” provides a charming visual experience that documents daily life in Baghdad during the Abbasid era, through 12 accurate artistic miniatures with the creativity of the artist Yahya bin Mahmoud, along with an interactive film material that evokes the history of the Arabs Markets, social life and Hajj trips.
The festival also hosts the Al -Barada Award exhibition in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture, which displays artworks inspired by Islamic arts with contemporary techniques, in addition to the exhibition that won the Badr Prize in its third edition.
The organization of these exhibitions comes within the framework of the Badr Festival’s keenness to highlight Islamic arts and the arts of Arabic calligraphy, and to celebrate the spiritual and visual aesthetics it carries, through artistic platforms that combine originality and renewal, and contribute to building bridges of dialogue and civilized communication between cultures, in order to enhance the values of openness and cultural exchange.
