"Dubai Electricity" The 3th session of "Business fitness forum"

Dubai, September 16/ WAM/ The Dubai Electricity and Water Authority organized the work of the third session of the “Business Agency Forum” with the participation of officials and experts from all over the world, within the activities of the “Institutional Gathering Week”, along with officials and personalities from the governmental and private sectors and a group of experts and specialists in the fields of institutional innovation and institutional agility.
The work of the forum was opened by His Excellency Saeed Mohammed Al -Tayer, Managing Director, CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, in the presence of His Excellency Bint Issa Bouhamid, Director General of the Community Development Authority in Dubai, His Excellency Abdullah Ali bin Zayed Al Falasi, Director General of the Human Resources Department of the Dubai Government, and His Excellency Saeed Mohammed Hareb, Secretary -General of Dubai Sports Council, and Dr. Hazza Khalfan Al Nuaimi, Assistant Secretary -General for the Excellence and Government Services Sector in the General Secretariat of the Council The executive, Saman Darkan, the founding partner and chief executive of products and technology at “Kitobi” and Engineer Mohamed Al Shamsi, founder of “Robo Hatek”, Evan Liporn, founding partner of the Business Agency Institute, Engineer Abdel Aziz Al Nuaimi, Head of Cyber Security in “Huawei Emirates”, Ronnie Sarkis, Senior Director of Accounts at LinkedIn.
Saeed Al -Tayer stressed that the forum, which was held in the presence of the employees of the authority, comes within the framework of the commission’s commitment to consolidate the culture of institutional agility, in line with the vision of the wise leadership that believes that the continuous development of the future to build the future government and enhance the global leadership of the UAE.
He said that institutional agility and rational governance are two main pillars to enhance the ability to respond to accelerated changes and turn challenges into opportunities, as well as raise operational efficiency, increase productivity and competitiveness, and enhance levels of happiness and customers happiness.
He noted that the report of the “Hi Spring” company for 2025 showed that institutions with high grace levels achieve weakness of others in revenue and are more able to align talents with technology and implement effectively, indicating that 97% of these institutions achieved positive growth in the first quarter of 2025, compared to only 46% among the least agile institutions.
His Excellency Al -Tayer explained that the authority operates a very flexible system through work teams to manage projects in a graceful way, noting that qualified projects managers have been trained in applying fitness and flexibility to manage major projects such as the smart network, artificial intelligence, and the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Energy Complex.
He added that these efforts culminated in 2024 with the authority to obtain the first position globally in the fitness of the service institutions specialized in energy, according to the evaluation of the Institute of Business, in addition to winning the Consortium Award for Business Gathering for the category of “comprehensive work agility”.
The forum included a discussion session entitled “Institutional Fitness: Integration of Roles in the Service of the Dubai Government”, in which His Excellency Hessa Bint Issa Bouhamid, His Excellency Abdullah Ali Bin Zayed Al Falasi and His Excellency Saeed Muhammad Hareb participated and was managed by Dr. Ali Muhammad Al -Mijiehi Al Shamsi, Vice President for Governance, matching and institutional agility in the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority.
His Excellency Bouhamid’s share touched on institutional agility as the basis for efficiency in the service of customers, stressing that the essence of government agility is the design of flexible services that respond to the needs of individuals and changing society.
Her Excellency pointed to the development of the Social Observatory in the Community Development Authority in Dubai as a strategic tool for making decisions quickly and efficiently through a system that provides accurate and immediate information in a way that enhances institutional readiness through a graceful work environment supported by artificial intelligence.
Abdullah Al -Falasi stressed that the institutional agility begins with humans by empowering employees and giving them flexibility to learn and develop and face new challenges with confidence.
Saeed Hareb talked about the effectiveness of institutional agility and said that sport has learned that agility is not an option, but rather a necessity to achieve victories and this principle applies to works.
