The Philippines intends to stop buying weapons from Israel due to the Gaza war
The Philippine government intends to stop buying weapons from Israel, after internal political pressure on the government to stop deals with Israel because of the war in the Gaza Strip.
& nbsp; Israeli, Filipino Defense Minister Gilberto Tudor announced in Parliament in Manila that his country intends to stop buying new armament systems from Israel and only implementing previous obligations, while heading towards diversification of import sources from other suppliers. Peace, the Philippines ranked second in the world in weapons purchases from Israel between 2019 and 2023.

Manila move two days after the Spanish government’s decision to cancel a decade of approximately 700 million euros to buy Israeli missile launchers to design within successive steps to impose more pressure on Israel because of its war on its sector Gaza.
