Hamdan bin Mohammed announces the “Rashid Villages” global initiative to commemorate Rashid bin Mohammed

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, and Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Dubai, announced the “Rashid Villages” initiative as a global charitable initiative that starts from Dubai to commemorate Sheikh Rashid bin Mohammed, may God rest his soul.
His Highness said in a post on the “X” platform: “In commemoration of the memory of my brother Sheikh Rashid bin Mohammed, may God rest his soul, today we announce the” Rashid Villages “initiative … a global charitable initiative that we launch from Dubai to provide integrated model villages that give enlightened families housing, education and health care, and provide them with the elements of decent living and stability.”
His Highness added: “And we announce the development of the first village within this charitable and humanitarian project in Kenya, and the initiative will continue to expand its human impact through the construction of a model village every year … Our goal is to become Rashid villages a turning point in the life of beneficiary families … to be beacons of hope … and a source of decent life … embodying Dubai’s message that good does not know limits, and that giving is a continuous approach.”
His Highness concluded by saying: “May God have mercy on Rashid … He was a lover of good … compassionate to those around him … and today, his bid turns into a reality that changes the lives of many, and restores them hope and trust in the future.
