Abu Dhabi, September 19 / WAM / The trains of the union and operator of the National Railways Network in the UAE announced the launch of the “Hackathon Youth -Global Rail 2025” competition, which targets university students and new graduates, and encourages them to create creative solutions that re -imagine the future of railways and infrastructure in the country, and continues over two days, from 1 to 2 October 2025, within the activities The Global Exhibition and Conference of Railways, Transport and Infrastructure “Global Rail 2025”.
It is expected that “Hackathon Youth -Global Rail 2025” will constitute a major platform for empowering young people and involving them in knowledge production, as it will have the opportunity for about 50 new students and graduates to contribute to addressing the challenges of the transportation and railway sector, under the supervision of the sector experts, where the teams will compete to win cash prizes, in a vital environment that enhances creativity and problem solving, and designed the Federation Track Company Hakathon, in line with the aspirations of the UAE regarding the spread of the culture of digital transformation, and enabling the next generation to play a pivotal role in formulating a more intelligent and sustainable future for the transport sector in the region.
“The” Hakathon Youth -Global Rail 2025 “embodies the Federation’s trains’ commitment to accelerate the innovation of transformational solutions, in transportation, logistics and transportation, by providing a special platform for youth, through which they can use their ideas to find solutions to the challenges facing the sector, The company is constantly keen to prepare a new generation of innovators who are able to lead smart and sustainable transport solutions. Hakathon is a celebration of creative youth and its effective contribution to building the future of the railway and infrastructure. Participants will be evaluated by a specialized jury, which includes specialists from Al -Ittihad train, external experts from academic circles, industrial and public sectors, taking into account a set of criteria, most notably creativity, feasibility, influence, and innovative use of artificial intelligence technologies and emerging technologies.
The winning teams will also be honored at the conclusion of the event, and the parties of the chosen participants are divided into teams from four to five members, and over two days they will be provided with the necessary guidance to support their career, and the teams will prepare solutions and present them to the jury, and participation is available to new university students and graduates during the past two years, from all over the United Arab Emirates, who have backgrounds in engineering, technology, business administration, and maximum levels The number of participants is 50 participants, and the participants will be chosen according to their competitiveness.
