The Ministry of Culture organizes a program "Creativity path" To train and employ citizens in the field of creative industries

Abu Dhabi, September 20 / WAM / The Ministry of Culture, in cooperation with the Council of Competitiveness of the Emirati cadres “Enforce”, the General Women’s Union and the Emirates Media Council, organizes the “Creativity Path” program to support citizens looking for work in the field of cultural and creative industries, which is hosted by the Maqam Council in Al Ain on September 25, with the participation of a number of federal and local authorities and private companies.

The program aims to provide job opportunities that suit the skills and expertise of creators in their fields in a way that ensures that they invest their capabilities at their maximum capacity, and to create direct communication channels between creators and institutions in the private sector, to facilitate the process of employment in the various areas of creativity, and work to increase the contributions of creative industries in the local product by integrating creators into productive projects and facilities, and developing professional skills for creators by providing training and rehabilitation programs A specialist helps them to adapt to various work environments, in addition to enabling creators to participate in international projects, exhibitions and programs that enhance their presence on the global scene.

Through this program, the Ministry of Culture is employing up to 300 trainees annually by providing paid practical training opportunities for a year that allows trainees to acquire practical skills and experiences in various specializations that include music, photography, fine arts, writing and publishing, library sciences, electronic games, graphic and architectural design, in addition to technological, media and creative economies.

The Ministry of Culture affirmed its commitment to supporting the Emirati cadres by providing a stimulating training environment that enables the trainees to contribute to the process of sustainable development, and to enhance the role of cultural and creative industries is an essential pillar to achieve the “Emirates Vision 2030” that aims to build a diverse and sustainable economy, based on knowledge and innovation.

The training program is scheduled to start with the participation of 50 trainees, bringing the number to 100 trainees in the fourth quarter, with the training period to be completed in September 2026.

It is worth noting that the Ministry of Culture contributed, in cooperation with the Council of Competitiveness of the Emirati cadres “Enforcement” in employing 485 citizens and citizenship in 2024 through the “Creative Employment” program.
