Officials: “Vision for Employment 2025” provides qualitative job opportunities for UAE youth

Dubai, September 23/ WAM/ Officials confirmed that the exhibition “Vision for Employment 2025”, which was launched today at the Dubai World Trade Center, is a vital platform to display the most prominent programs and initiatives aimed at empowering Emirati youth, and providing qualitative opportunities that enhance their readiness for the future labor market.
Mahmoud Al -Alawi, Director General of the Institutional Efficiency Sector in the Abu Dhabi Accounting Agency, stressed in a statement to “WAM”, on the sidelines of the exhibition that the participation of the agency in a “vision for employment 2025” starts from the belief in the importance of involving young citizens in the march of preserving public resources and enhancing their role in protecting the state gains.
He said that the participation of the agency this year provides many opportunities for young citizens to join the agency in various specialties, whether financial, accounting, information technology, information security and other fields, indicating that vacancies are provided for new graduates through the “elite” program, as well as other vacancies for those who are qualified to take leadership positions in the device.
He added that the percentage of Emiratization in the agency reaches about 95% and the national cadres constitute the vast majority of the workforce, stressing that the UAE youth have proven their efficiency in leading various specializations within the device, whether in accounting, scrutiny, integrity, information management or other administrative specializations.
Al -Alawi expressed his pride in the ability of national competencies to play a pivotal role in protecting public money and enhancing the principles of integrity and transparency, calling on young citizens to visit the Abu Dhabi Accounting Authority in the exhibition to identify the available job opportunities and register via the device’s website.
For his part, Abdulaziz Al -Falahi, General Supervisor of Employment Operations in the UAE Human Resources Development Council, stressed that the number of job seekers from citizens in the Emirate of Dubai decreased from about 8,800 researchers in the beginning of 2022 to between 1400 and 1500 researchers at the present time, thanks to the qualitative initiatives and programs aimed at enhancing employment opportunities for citizens.
Al -Falahi said that the labor market movement is witnessing a constant change due to the graduation of new payments from school and university students, in addition to the return of some citizens from other emirates to the labor market in Dubai, which requires the creation of innovative solutions that reduce the numbers of job seekers and increase the opportunities for sustainable employment.
He pointed to the launch of the “Emirati Human Resources Platform” as a first experimental stage, which is an integrated platform that provides qualitative services for students and those looking for business and entrepreneurs, starting from the age of 15 years and extending after retirement.
He explained that the platform supports students in the academic levels through academic guidance and the choice of appropriate specializations for the needs of the labor market and the provision of practical training opportunities (internship) for university students since the first years of study, in order to enhance their practical skills and allow them to obtain job offers before graduation.
Regarding the launch stages, Al -Falahi explained that the current launch of the platform is experimental, and work will be done until next December to register companies, universities, schools and job seekers, within a stage designated for training, monitoring gaps and developing the platform, provided that it is officially launched to the public in December to fully benefit from their services.
For its part, Dr. Najat Obaidullah, First Vice President of Human Resources Management at the Dubai World Trade Center, confirmed that the center reviews, through its participation, leadership programs directed to Emirati youth, including the “brilliant” program and the “leadership” program, which aim to prepare graduates who do not have practical experience, noting that these programs annually attract about 20 citizens within specific criteria, most notably that the cumulative average is not less For three, to ensure their rehabilitation within two years to be ready to engage in the labor market.
She added that these programs have proven successful for 11 years, as it benefited between 350 and 400 citizens, many of whom were able to highlight their capabilities in different sectors, pointing out that the center also provides specialized programs in the fields of art, hospitality, marketing and sales, within a similar numerical ceiling, with the aim of focusing on developing the skills of the participants and ensuring their readiness.
In turn, Ahmed Al -Qasim, Vice President for Talent Management at “DB and the Gulf Cooperation Council states, said that this year witnessed the benefit of more than 150 participants from the company’s programs and initiatives, which reflects the commitment of” DP and Drd “to sponsor and develop national competencies.
He added that “DPDDRDD” will be keen during the exhibition to communicate directly with Emirati graduates and professionals to introduce them to the available paths and opportunities, and to consolidate their relations with future Emirati talents.
He explained that Emiratisation is a basic pillar of the “DB World” operations in the UAE, which includes the Port of Jebel Ali and the free zone of Jabal Ali (Jafza) and recently, 15 Emirati graduates completed leadership programs launched by the company in cooperation with “Schneider Electric” and during which they gained practical experience in various fields such as sustainability, artificial intelligence, digital innovation, leadership, which highlights the commitment The firm “DP and” is the development of Emirati cadres that keep pace with the future and its needs.
For its part, Adhari Mohamed, Director of the Human Resources and Development Executive Department at the Dubai Roads and Transport Authority, said that the authority is keen to enable national competencies, believing that it is the main pillar in the innovation and leadership march that is characterized by Dubai.
She added that the authority participates in the exhibition by offering more than 100 qualitative opportunities in the fields of future such as artificial intelligence, data science, information security, engineering and smart infrastructure.
