DUBAI, 31st March / WAM / The competent authorities in Dubai confirmed that they dealt with an accident involving a Kuwaiti oil tanker in Dubai waters in the anchor area (E), caused by a drone, without recording any injuries.

The Dubai Government Media Office stated that the marine firefighting teams are currently carrying out operations to control the fire and deal with the incident according to established procedures, stressing that the safety of all 24 crew members has been ensured, while the specialized teams in Dubai are currently continuing operations to combat the fire to which the Kuwaiti oil tanker was exposed, without recording any injuries, indicating that more details will be announced as soon as they are available.
