Dubai Basketball maintains the lead despite its loss to Red Star
Belgrade, 30 March / WAM / The Dubai Basketball Team maintained its lead in its group in the Top 8 stage of the Adriatic League (ABA League), despite its loss to Serbian Crvena Zvezda “Red Star” with a score of 82-84, in the match that was held today at the Alexander Nikolic Hall in the Serbian capital, Belgrade, in the fifth round.
The Dubai team trailed in the first half with a score of 33-47, before it performed better in the second half, and succeeded in gradually reducing the difference, but time did not allow it to change the result.
With three rounds remaining until the end of the Top 8 stage, the Dubai team continues to lead with a record of 18 wins versus 3 losses, enhancing its chances of finishing the stage in first place before the start of the elimination rounds.
