Sharjah Al -Rawi Forum enriches its activities with travelers sessions and meetings

Sharjah, September 23 / WAM / The activities of the Sharjah International Forum for Rawa, organized by the Sharjah Heritage Institute in its twenty -fifth session, continue to form a cognitive platform that brings together researchers and scientists from different countries in the context of a wealthy research and dialogue on oral heritage and literature of Arab trips.

The activities witnessed a wide turnout from the audience, who was keen to follow the sessions and participate in various activities and workshops. The researchers also discussed through scientific papers and extensive dialogue sessions, the dimensions of the journey in Arab history and culture, highlighting the humanitarian and cognitive role of the r lack in the transfer of experiences and the exchange of cultures.

In a session entitled “The Cities of the Emirates and the Arab Gulf in the writings of travelers and geographic”, she presented three research papers that dealt with the role of travelers and geographic in documenting the UAE cities and ports the first paper to Talal Al -Rumaidi and highlighted the journey of Mohammed Jassim Al -Sadah, head of the Kuwaiti Mission for the United Nations to the Emirates and Qatar in 1958, reviewing the accurate observations of education and emerging institutions in Sharjah and the role of Kuwaiti cooperation in the establishment Cultural links.

The second paper of Wafa Salem Al -Hashaimi dealt with the biography of Ibn Jubair Al -Andalusi and the pilgrims in the sixth and seventh centuries AH focused on urban and social documentation and his views of economic and cultural life, which made his book a basic reference for researchers.

As for the third paper, it was presented by Fatima Al -Mazrouei, entitled “Al -Dhafra between History and Literature”, reviewing the efforts of Ali Al -Kindi bitter in documenting the history of Al Dhafra, its desert roads, its water resources and popular poetry that preserved the names of the sites, stressing that his books constitute an important reference to understand the Emirati cultural identity.

Dr. Salem Al -Tunaiji concluded the session with a research paper on describing Emirati cities through the writings of four travelers from the third century to the seventh AH, stressing the vital role of the UAE coast such as Julphar, Dibba, Fujairah and Sharjah as active commercial centers influencing civilization and local economy.

The forum also witnessed a scientific session entitled “Oral traditions in Arab trips” that shed light on the dimensions of the trip in Arab culture from literature and popular history and anthropology, along with the “Al -Ajaibi and Al -Gharbi and Al -Gharbi in the Arab Tour Blog” where the Italian researcher Claudia Maria Treso presented the presence of women and children in the journey of Ibn Battuta, while Dr. Abdul Hakim Tarifa presented social and cultural practices in diaries The traveler, Dr. Youssef Ding Long, discussed the comparison between Ibn Battuta and Shio Chic trips.

Exceptional tales were embodied about the courage, steadfastness and discovery in the “Meeting of the Trade” program. The session witnessed the participation of the two Emirati travel pioneers, Fatim, to my gnish and Salma Al -Hafiti, who presented to the audience inspiring stories about their experiences that spanned through continents and cultures.
