Korea’s exports have increased by 36.7% since the beginning of April

SEOUL, April 13 (WAM) – The Republic of Korea’s exports rose by 36.7% during the first ten days of April, compared to the same period last year.

According to data issued today by the Korean Customs Agency, the value of outbound shipments amounted to 25.2 billion US dollars during the period from April 1 to 10, compared to 18.4 billion US dollars during the same period last year.

Imports also increased by 12.7% year-on-year to reach US$22.1 billion during the aforementioned period, resulting in a trade surplus of US$3.1 billion, according to the data.
