"Trends" Participates in the second forum of Emirati -Chinese thought centers

BEIJING, on September 24/ WAM/ The Trends Center for Research and Consulting, through its virtual office in Beijing, participated in the activities of the second forum for the UAE -Chinese thought centers as a strategic partner, which was held in the Chinese capital, Beijing on September 23 and 24, 2025, organized by the Embassy of the UAE in the People’s Republic of China, under the slogan “Building bridges and payment of innovation”.

The forum was attended by His Excellency Hussein Ibrahim Al Hammadi, the UAE ambassador to the People’s Republic of China, His Excellency Abdullah Al Saleh, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Economy and Tourism, His Excellency Chen Chen Cheng, Director of West Asia and North Africa Department at the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and a number of senior officials, and a group of representatives of thought centers and research and academic parties from the two countries, to discuss the prospects of cooperation and enhance the bridges of knowledge and cultural understanding between the UAE and China.

The Trends delegation, who is participating in the event, stressed that the forum constitutes an important platform for exchanging visions and formulating innovative ideas to deal with joint global challenges, and promoting civilized and research dialogue between East and West, as it is a strategic platform for exchanging ideas on the common future between the UAE and China, especially in light of the accelerated international changes.

The delegation expressed its appreciation for the efforts of the UAE embassy in organizing the forum, stressing that this initiative reflects the deep belief in the importance of the role played by the centers of thought in today’s world, as well as the depth of historical, cultural and economic relations that bring together the UAE and the People’s Republic of China, which are constantly renewed through dialogue and joint work in various fields.

Trends participated in the forum with a pavilion that included a number of various research studies, and the Trends research delegation gave the wing guests an explanation about the center’s work, research specializations and various publications.
