Agreement between "Dubai taxi" and"Cable" To enhance the digital taxi system in the emirate
Dubai, September 24 / WAM / The Dubai Taxi Company, in cooperation with its international partner, Bolt, and the company “Kabi”, which is affiliated with Al -Ghurair Group, announced through its local application “Z” in the field of smart mobility, the signing of a strategic agreement aimed at strengthening the digital taxi system in the emirate, and expanding the vehicles available to residents and visitors.
This partnership was announced during the signing ceremony that brought together Mansour Rahma Al Falasi, CEO of Dubai Taxi, and Badr El Ghurair, CEO of Kabi, where the two parties confirmed that the agreement represents a prominent station in the Dubai march towards establishing its position as a global destination for innovation in smart transport.
According to the agreement, the two companies will be linked to the two companies that include 6200 taxis belonging to Dubai taxi and 3680 taxis belonging to Kabi, on the electronic reservation platforms Bolt and Zad, which contributes to reducing waiting times, enhancing operational efficiency, and adding any new vehicles that are operated in the future automatically to ensure the sustainability of the service and meet the growing demand.
Mansour Rahma Al -Falasi emphasized that this strategic partnership represents a qualitative shift in easy access to transportation services through smart applications, and is consistent with the directions of the Dubai government aimed at converting 80% of taxis to electronic reservation, noting that the tax vehicles sector witnessed a steady growth of 7% during the first half of the year 2025 compared to the same period in 2024, according to the data of the Roads and Transport Authority.
For his part, Badr Al -Ghurair explained that this agreement represents an important turn to unify efforts and use experiences to serve residents and visitors in Dubai in innovative methods, stressing that integrating resources with the latest transportation technologies will not be limited to expanding the scope of service, but will enhance the criteria of efficiency, quality of service and sustainability.
This partnership confirms Dubai’s pioneering position as a global incubator for innovation in the smart movement, and on the pivotal role of strategic alliances in providing integrated digital services characterized by speed, efficiency and sustainability.
