The 27th session .. "Witix" It expands the scope of global partnerships in the field of clean energy

Dubai, September 26/ WAM/ The Water, Energy and Environment Technology Exhibition “Witix” attracts its twenty -seventh session organized by the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority during the period from September 30 to October 2 at the Dubai World Trade Center, the latest innovations and supporting technologies by expanding global partnerships, increasing the clean and renewable energy share in the global energy mix, reducing its costs and raising its operational efficiency.
His Excellency Saeed Mohamed Al Tayer, Managing Director CEO of the Authority, founder and head of “Witix”, said that the exhibition is consistent with the Emirates Climate Neutral Strategy 2050 and the national strategy for hydrogen 2050, and it constitutes an ideal global opportunity to enhance cooperation between the United Arab Emirates and the world countries in the field of sustainability, especially since clean energy will make up 36% of the energy mix in the UAE by 2030.
In turn, Mohamed Jamil Al -Ramahi, CEO of Masdar, said that strategic platforms such as the “Witix” exhibition contribute to advancing sustainable progress, allowing us to review our latest projects and innovative solutions, and consolidate our partnerships, and explore new opportunities to expand the scope of dependence on clean energy solutions around the world, in the context of our efforts to raise the production capacity of the “Masdar” project portfolio to 100 gigawades By 2030.
For his part, Jassim Hussein Thabet, CEO of the group, Managing Director of Abu Dhabi National Energy Company “Taqah”, said that in light of the increasing global demand for energy and water, economic challenges, and the reality of climate change, it is the responsibility of public utilities companies responsible for providing affordable and reliable solutions, explaining that “Witix” combines global experiences to address these common challenges, and push scientific progress in this sector and around it.
Hussein Sultan Lootah, Acting CEO of Emirates National Oil Company “Enok”, said that the exhibition is an important platform that supports the UAE’s efforts to enhance sustainability, innovation and energy future, promote dialogue and joint cooperation, and review the latest emerging solutions and technologies.
