Standard efficiency test is launched in 3 basic materials tomorrow

Students of grades from the fourth to the eleventh in government schools in various emirates of the state are advising to test the ministerial efficiency, tomorrow, in three basic subjects that include Arabic, English and mathematics.

Government school departments reported that the test continues until the ninth of next October.

Students are subject to a test that evaluates their performance in the targeted materials, within the strategy of the Ministry of Education to develop the tools of measurement and evaluation and improve the quality of the educational process.

The departments confirmed in messages for parents and students, which were seen by «Emirates Today» that the efficiency test is a strategic national tool aimed at measuring the level of students’ mastery of basic academic skills, diagnosing educational gaps and developing early treatment plans for them, as well as following up the progress of students and measuring improvement in their level during the school year.

She stressed the importance of students ’commitment to attend and not be absent during the test period, explaining that students of the sixth, seventh and eighth grades are required to bring their laptops fully charged, while the fifth grade students will perform their tests inside the equipped school computer rooms.

She indicated that the efficiency test is not related to the concept of success or failure, but rather aims to determine the level of the student accurately and build individual educational plans that enhance strengths and address aspects of weakness, stressing that supporting and encouraging parents for their children to psychological readiness is a pivotal factor to achieve the best results.

She explained that the entry mechanism for the test takes place through a dedicated link, where the student enters the Emirati ID number on the test ticket, then select the material according to the specified date and enter the activation code consisting of six letters and numbers to start the test.

Through the tests, she stressed the prevention of the entry of personal calculators, as the electronic system provides a virtual calculator designed to meet the needs of students during the test, with a guidance guide to explain the mechanism of its use.

On the other hand, the Ministry of Education, represented by the digital transformation and artificial intelligence sector, announced a comprehensive modernization of five links in its main digital systems, within the project to integrate and change the scope of digital systems aimed at improving the quality of electronic services and facilitating the access of students, parents and teachers to educational platforms, in a new step towards promoting digital transformation and developing infrastructure of educational systems.
