The head of the state and the Egyptian president discuss in Cairo the brotherly relations and developments in the region

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him”, discussed with his brother Abdel -Fattah El -Sisi, President of the sisterly Arab Republic of Egypt, the brotherly relations and the various paths of cooperation and joint work between the two countries and ways to develop them, especially in the economic, commercial and development fields in a way that serves their common interests and enhances development priorities in the two countries.
This came during a meeting with His Highness, President Abdel Fattah El -Sisi at the Federal Palace in Cairo in the framework of the brotherly visit made by His Highness to Egypt.
The two sides also discussed a number of regional and international issues and files and exchanged views on them, especially the developments taking place in the Middle East region and the importance of building on the momentum of confessions in the Palestinian state that witnessed the past period by many countries of the world, stressing in this context that “the two states solution” is the only path to achieve a comprehensive and permanent peace and enhance the causes of regional stability and security in the interest of all countries of the region and their peoples.
The two sides expressed their support for all efforts and initiatives aimed at stopping the shooting in the Gaza Strip and finding a permanent settlement of the crisis.
His Highness and the Egyptian President also stressed the urgent need to enhance joint Arab action in light of the unprecedented regional circumstances and challenges to ensure the preservation of the security and stability of the region and the achievement of sustainable prosperity for its people.
The meeting was attended by the accompanying delegation of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, during the visit, which includes both His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the Presidency for Special Affairs, Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Advisor to the President of the State, and a number of ministers and senior officials in the state.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of Cairo, left Cairo at the end of his brotherly visit, as President Abdel Fattah El -Sisi was at the forefront of his highness at Cairo International Airport.
