Hamas is no longer any justification for rejecting the Gaza plan

French Foreign Minister Jean Noel Barrow said on Tuesday that Hamas “no longer has any justification for rejecting the proposal submitted to it” as part of the plan aimed at ending the war in the Gaza Strip.

“Hamas is now definitely isolated, and it has been completely disavowed, and it has to be realistic, it has lost,” he said, in reference to the adoption of the United Nations General Assembly in a large majority on September 12 a text that supports the establishment of a future Palestinian state that excludes Hamas.

The day after the disclosure of the plan of US President Donald Trump on peace in the Gaza Strip, which was supported by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Barrow considered Hamas to “seize the opportunity available to her to disarm her and leave exile.”

He pointed out that the movement, which committed “the worst anti -Semitic massacre in our history on October 7, 2023, bears great responsibility for the situation we are now in Gaza, which is still catastrophic.”

“We have coordinated, first to ensure that the two parties take advantage of this opportunity, and of course those who must be pressured to do so are Hamas. Then to implement this peace plan,” added the French minister, who made a phone call on Tuesday, and of course, who must be pressured to do so is Hamas. Then to implement this peace plan, “noting that the American plan includes many” main principles “presented by France and Saudi Arabia to resolve the conflict.
