4434 Canadian companies registered in the membership of “Dubai Chamber”

The number of active Canadian companies registered in the membership of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce recorded a growth of about 30% during the past year, while 535 new Canadian companies joined the chamber membership during the first half of this year, which raised the total number of Canadian companies members in the room to 4434 companies until the end of last June, thus Canada ranked 10th in the list of new non -Emirati companies joining the Dubai Chamber of Commerce membership during the first half of 2025.
Dubai Chambers said, in a statement yesterday, that it was organized in cooperation with the Consulate General of Canada in Dubai and the company “Enovia Capital”, a round discussion table with a delegation that included representatives of 19 Canadian companies, with the aim of introducing the competitive ingredients that characterize the digital economy in Dubai, and the promising opportunities of the emirate to Canadian companies in various sectors, foremost of which is the advanced technology sector.
The event attracted 52 participants from the business community in Canada and Dubai, and the specializations of Canadian companies members of the delegation focused on a variety of sectors, including artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, space communications, quantitative computing and health technology, in addition to research, data analysis and risk capital.
The discussions dealt with the prospects for cooperation with Canadian companies in various fields, and the possibility of expanding the base of business relations between Dubai and Canada was discussed by taking advantage of integration in joint experiences within a group of vital sectors, in order to enhance cooperation in the areas of modern innovation and technologies, and supports building more promising partnerships between Dubai companies and their Canadian counterparts.
“The growing economic relations between Dubai and Canada are a strategic pillar to develop bilateral cooperation in the priority sectors, especially in the fields of new economy and advanced technologies,” said the Director General of Dubai Chambers, Mohammed Ali Rashid Lootah. Dubai continues to consolidate its position as an attractive global center for Canadian companies wishing to expand internationally, thanks to its business -supporting environment and its advanced system of innovation and entrepreneurship.
And a reflection of the commitment of Dubai Chambers to enhance joint economic relations and increase the scope of commercial and investment opportunities between Dubai and Canada, the Dubai World Chamber, during June of this year, opened a new representative office in the Canadian city of Toronto, its first in North America.
