A rare heavenly scene .. a guilty “lemon” shines in the sky of the Emirates

The astronomical seal observatory was able to monitor the comet of “C/2025 A6 Lemmon”, in a heavenly scene that attracted the attention of astronomers and lovers of heaven in the state.

It is estimated that the shine of the comet will increase in the coming weeks to reach the third amount, which will make it one of the brightest comets that can be seen with the naked eye from the sites far from optical pollution.

The comet is currently seen on the eastern side before dawn, and with its approaching the sun will turn into an evening offense seen on the western side after sunset starting from October 15.

The photo of the comet was taken between 04:10 and 05: 00 B. Emirates time, where 84 consecutive snapshots were collected for a period of 30 seconds to form a final image for a total exposure period of 42 minutes, using a 4 -in -inch caters’ telescope equipped with a high -resolution color camera and a special candidate to reduce optical pollution, which allowed the scene documenting the highest possible clarity.

The comet in the picture appears in a bright emerald green color resulting from the ionization of carbon molecules in it due to the ultraviolet rays coming from the sun, while its bright tail extends almost through the entire frame.
