Abu Dhabi, October 5 / WAM / The foreign ministers of the United Arab Emirates, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Republic of Indonesia, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the Republic of Turkey, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the State of Qatar, and the Arab Republic of Egypt, welcomed today with the steps taken by Hamas towards the proposal of US President Donald Trump to end the war on Gaza, and to release all hostages, alive. The foreign ministers also welcomed Hamas’s declaration of its willingness to hand over the Gaza administration to a transitional Palestinian administrative committee from independent technocrats, and stressed the need for immediate starting negotiations to agree on the mechanisms of implementing the proposal and address all its aspects.
The foreign ministers have affirmed their joint commitment to support the efforts aimed at implementing the items of the proposal, and work to end the war on Gaza immediately, and to reach a comprehensive agreement that guarantees the delivery of all humanitarian aid to Gaza without restrictions, the failure to displace the Palestinian people, and not to take any steps that threaten the security and safety of civilians, the release of the hostages, the return of the Palestinian Authority to Gaza, the unification of the West Bank and the Gaza Strip, and the access to a security mechanism that guarantees the security of all The parties, which leads to complete Israeli withdrawal and the reconstruction of Gaza, and pave the way for a fair peace on the basis of a two -state solution.
