The ruler of Sharjah is witnessing the closing ceremony of the fourth international forum for Arab teachers

Sharjah, October 6 / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, witnessed today the closing ceremony of the fourth international forum for Arab teachers, which was held under the slogan “Building and Importing”, organized by the Sharjah Special Education Authority in cooperation with the Sharjah Academy of Education, during the period from 4 to 6 October, in the building of the Sharjah Council for Higher Education and Scientific Research in the University City.
The closing ceremony was started with national peace, and His Highness and the attendees listened to verses from the wise dhikr, after which the updated doctor Yahya Al -Hashemi, President of the Sharjah Special Education Authority, received the President of the Sharjah Academy of Education, a speech during which she expressed her great gratitude for attending and honoring His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, stressing that the sponsorship of His Highness constitutes a basic pillar of the success of educational initiatives in the emirate.
It also emphasized that the forum is a practical embodiment of the strategic goals set 2025-2028, which focuses on empowering the teacher, raising the quality of education, and consolidating the Arabic language as a major component of identity and the knowledge industry.
She pointed to the keenness of the organizers of the forum to represent an active platform that enables the Arab teachers and its materials, and transforming the passion in Arabic into values that bloom, revealing the results of the standard tests of the Arabic language “Talab Telk” for its speakers, in which the Emirate of Sharjah achieves great progress compared to the international rate.
The President of the Sharjah Academy of Education pointed out that the “Teacher and Pride” program managed to rehabilitate more than 120 teachers of national competencies that practice the noble education message in the private sector, stressing that the graduates contribute to achieving the directions of the rational leadership in relying on the eloquent Arabic language in government nurseries, which constitutes a qualitative shift in the education of the mother tongue and its subjects.
She said that the forum provides a number of scientific research on Arabic, and an experience of early childhood teachers with the aim of strengthening Arab reading through cooperation with strategic partners, promising at the end of its speech by preserving the gains, continuing efforts and multiplying them to serve the Arabic language.
His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah and the attendees watched a video show that dealt with the greatness of the Arabic language and its characteristic and eloquence, its pivotal role in enlightening minds and preserving cultural identity, consolidating authentic values and knowledge in the hearts of generations, in addition to the position of Arabic in building human thought, serenity of its language, and foresee of a bright future based on knowledge, science and pride in identity.
The guest of honor of the forum, Dr. Barbara Michalak, head of the Department of Arabic Language at the Polish University of Bagki, delivered a speech during which she expressed her happiness in being in Sharjah, the conservative and supportive emirate of Arabic and teachers, appreciating the efforts of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah in supporting the Arabic language and teachers worldwide.
She praised the efforts of those in charge of the forum and the quality of the workshops that are presented to promote and preserve the Arabic language, extending its thanks and gratitude for the call for the presence and participation in this supportive forum for Arabic teachers, wishing the forum success and continuity and out of results that contribute to upgrading the language around the world.
His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah was acquainted with the details of the forum in its fourth session through a visual presentation presented by Wafaa Al Hammadi, reviewing the most prominent numbers of the forum, where the participation of 264 speakers representing 23 countries, along with 46 national, regional and international institutions, witnessed the diversity of experiences and experiences in teaching Arabic to the speakers and non -speakers.
Al -Hammadi pointed to the participation of all the members of the “Teacher and Pride” program in managing and organizing the workshops, in a step confirming the forum’s tendency towards enabling national cadres and raising their leadership efficiency in the educational field, where the forum presented 77 training workshops, including 36 workshops from private schools in Sharjah, in addition to exemplary classes organized by the Sharjah Academy for Education, to enhance the applied aspect of methods of teaching the Arabic language.
His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah and the attendees witnessed an artistic student paragraph entitled “Sharjah Al -Nour” presented by the students of the Victoria International School in the central region, the students were proud of its words in the Arabic language and its primary role in upgrading the human and nations, in addition to the efforts of the Emirate of Sharjah led by His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah in preserving and committing to the Arabic language.
His Highness preferred to honor the sponsors and strategic partners of the forum, as the current version was sponsored by the Arabic Language Academy in Sharjah, which hosted a number of academics in order to participate in scientific sessions, in a move that reflects openness to global experiences in Arabic education, in addition to cooperating with the educational center of the Arabic language of the Gulf states, to present a series of proactive sessions that numbered 13 sessions, provided the participants with theoretical and applied aspects Advanced.
The forum comes under the umbrella of the “Arabic We raise” initiative, coinciding with the International Teacher Day, to establish its position as a scientific and educational platform aimed at developing the methods of teaching the Arabic language and enhancing its position as a language of identity, culture and creativity.
Its closing activities in the eastern region will be completed on October 7, confirming the comprehensiveness of the forum and the expansion of its geographical and educational scope.
The forum program spread over a period of four days, which started with a preparatory day on the 4th of October, followed by the two official days on October 5 and 6, to the closing ceremony on October 6, while the activities will continue on October 7 with the organization of the “Eastern Forum for Arab Teachers”, as part of field activities targeting various educational areas in the emirate.
The agenda included dialogue sessions, training workshops, and typical categories that dealt with issues such as: curricula, teaching methods, digital education, language skills “reading, writing, speaking, listening, calligraphy”, Arabic education for speakers of others, aspects of linguistic weakness, and developing evaluation tools.
The students participated effectively in cultural competitions, poetic debates, and student hallkiton, while the cultural corner was distinguished by the presence of four Emirati writers in each session, in order to enhance integration between education, culture and national identity.
The closing ceremony was attended by His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, His Excellency Sarah Bint Youssef Al -Amiri, Minister of Education, His Excellency Dr. Amna Al -Dahhak Al -Shamsi, Minister of Climate Change and Environment, and a number of senior officials and representatives of the participating authorities in the forum and educators.
