At a Gulf ministerial meeting .. The UAE calls for investment of artificial intelligence with a balanced vision in religious affairs

Kuwait on 6 Aquer / WAM / His Excellency Dr. Omar Habtoor Al -Darai, Chairman of the General Authority for Islamic Affairs, Endowments and Zakat, called for the need to exploit the opportunities of the times, foremost of which is artificial intelligence, which has become a reality that must be embraced with a balanced vision and investment in a way that serves man, homelands and religion.

This came in a speech delivered by His Excellency today during his participation in the eleventh ministerial meeting of those responsible for Islamic affairs and endowments in the Gulf Cooperation Council states in the State of Kuwait.

His Excellency emphasized that the management of religious affairs is a great and accurate affair, its effects are related to the security, stability and prosperity of societies, and the achievement of the necessities and colleges that preserve religion, the soul, the mind, the family and the economy, the more perfect religious affairs the homelands are stable and peaceful, and he said: Our responsibility today requires that we be according to this ambition, inspired by our religious message Mastering.

Dr. Al -Darai reviewed the experience of the leading UAE as a practical model to keep pace with the times, pointing to qualitative initiatives such as the integration of artificial intelligence in the sermon and mosques, and the experience of the “unified sermon” in which the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan was directed “may God rest his soul” thirty years ago, in addition to consolidating the values ​​of coexistence and the governance of religious affairs through an integrated legislative system, qualifying religious competencies according to curricula Disciplined and developed.

The ministerial meeting discussed a number of vital issues that touch on the needs of societies, which included family and generations issues, the consolidation of religious, moral and human values, promoting intellectual security, balanced dealing with artificial intelligence, the environment and energy rationalization.

His Excellency Dr. Omar Habtoor Al -Darai praised the civilizational achievements achieved in the Gulf states and the consolidation of the values ​​of moderation and tolerance, in light of the generous care of His Majesty and His Highness the leaders of the GCC states.

The state’s delegation participating in the meeting included Abdel Rahman Saeed Al Shamsi, Executive Director of Religious Talents and Acting Forensic Discourse in the Commission and a number of officials in it.
