"Abu Dhabi Quality" It launches advanced services to enhance the quality of building materials

Abu Dhabi, October 7 / WAM / The Abu Dhabi Quality and Construction Council, today, launched two new services within the building material examination laboratory of the Central Examination Service Service in the Council. This comes within the framework of the council’s continuous efforts to enhance the quality of materials used in vital construction projects in the emirate, and to support sustainable development and knowledge -based economy.

The new services include examination of polymer content and the examination of iron wires, as they were designed to meet the needs of the concerned authorities and ensure the compatibility of materials with the approved standard specifications, and the development comes in light of the acceleration of the pace of major projects in the emirate, and the reliable guarantee and quality of the materials used in a way that contributes to enhancing safety and security levels in infrastructure.

The polymer content examination is an advanced service for analyzing plastic materials and determining the quality of polymers with high accuracy, providing a local alternative that relieves samples abroad, which contributes to shortening time and reducing costs on companies and government agencies, while the service of rail wire examination focuses on assessing mechanical properties of wires such as resistance to tension, elongation and hardness, and ensuring their conformity with standard specifications, including Supports contracting and engineering consulting companies in implementing high -quality and reliable projects.

These specialized services will contribute to enhancing the confidence of investors and developers, and stimulates the flow of local and international investments, which contributes to supporting Abu Dhabi’s directions towards building smart and sustainable cities with solid and safe infrastructure.

His Excellency Eng. Abdullah Hassan Al -Muaini, Executive Director of the Central Examination Service Sector at the Abu Dhabi Quality and Construction Council, stressed that the launch of these two services reflects the commitment of the Council to move from the role of the traditional laboratory to the role of the strategic partner in the march of urban and economic development of the emirate.

He added, “The council’s work is not limited to providing accurate tests according to the highest international standards, but also directly in support of the competitiveness of the Abu Dhabi economy and enhancing its position as a leading regional destination in the field of quality and matching.”

He explained that this step is part of a comprehensive vision that aims to enable the public and private sectors to build projects that achieve the highest levels of safety, and respond to the aspirations of the emirate towards sustainable development and the economy of the future.
