$22 million value of contracts awarded in the second quarter of 2025

The quarterly report for the second quarter of 2025 issued by the Ministry of Finance and National Economy revealed that the Gulf Development Program projects have witnessed progress since 2011, and that the value of contracts awarded during the second quarter of 2025 amounted to about $22 million.

One of the most prominent projects of the program is the implementation of the intersection of Sheikh Isa bin Salman Street with the northern Sheikh Zayed Road “Bu Quwah Intersection”, which aims to develop the only main outlet for the region at the present time and to connect the Bu Quwah and Salmabad areas, to contribute to alleviating traffic congestion.

The total value of projects awarded since the launch of the program has increased to approximately $6.4 billion.
