Fujairah hosts a calligraphy and decoration conference
Fujairah, 9 October / WAM / Fujairah will host the second edition of the International Conference on Calligraphy and Ornamentation, from 18 to 19 October, at the DoubleTree Hilton Fujairah Hotel, organized by the School of Calligraphy and Ornamentation.
The event comes after the remarkable success achieved by the first edition.
The conference aims to revive and develop traditional arts in addition to enhancing cultural and artistic exchange between those interested from inside and outside the country. It seeks to open new horizons for artistic and research dialogue by discussing the latest contemporary methods, techniques and theories, in addition to encouraging community and creative participation by attracting a diverse audience of those interested in Islamic arts and visual heritage.
