"Cyber ​​security" Reviews the latest digital initiatives in "GITEX Global 2025"

Abu Dhabi, 10 October / WAM / The Cyber ​​Security Council, during its participation in the activities of the “GITEX Global 2025” exhibition, which is being held at the Dubai World Trade Center during the period from 13 to 17 October this year, will review a group of the most prominent distinguished digital initiatives, which reflect its efforts in enhancing the process of digital transformation and securing cyberspace in the country.

It also reviews its latest strategies to enhance cybersecurity at the national and international levels, and the efforts made to enhance the country’s position as a global center for innovation and technology, and protect digital infrastructure.

GITEX Global Technology Exhibition has been the main gateway for innovators, investors and emerging companies to cooperate in the field of technology for more than forty years, as this year’s events shed light on the innovations of technology giants and emerging companies in various fields including artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and sustainable technology.

The participation of the Cybersecurity Council during the exhibition focuses on reviewing cybersecurity initiatives, in addition to presenting modern initiatives, systems and technologies concerned with confronting effective cyber threats, as the Council hosts a large number of experts and specialists in the field of technology and digital security from various parts of the world, to discuss ways to develop international cooperation to confront the challenges of cyberspace.

The Council holds several workshops and seminars, covering topics such as data protection, enhancing digital awareness, and dealing with advanced cyberattacks. It also reviews a number of the pioneering initiatives it has launched in the field of cybersecurity, such as platforms for exchanging information about cybersecurity data, such as the compliance and governance platform, as well as the “Crystal Ball” platform, in addition to the “capture the flag” competition. And innovation activities through the “E71” Cyber Initiative, discussing partnerships with the private sector, and reviewing the partnerships that the Council has concluded with the most prominent global technology companies to enhance cyber resilience, in addition to the “North Star” offers dedicated to emerging companies.

His Excellency Dr. Mohammed Hamad Al Kuwaiti, Head of Cybersecurity for the UAE Government, stressed that this year’s exhibition is a major platform for enhancing cooperation and exchanging experiences between global institutions, with the aim of building a safe digital environment for all, stressing the UAE’s commitment to supporting innovations in this vital field.

He pointed out the participation of a group of the largest companies specialized in technology, along with emerging companies in the same field, as well as some of the most prominent government agencies, during the exhibition activities to highlight the latest highly advanced innovations in the world of information technology from various parts of the world.
