Dubai, 14 October / WAM / Space 42 revealed that the Thuraya-4 satellite, which the company launched at the beginning of this year, has entered its final operational stages, in preparation for the start of official operation during the coming period, which will enhance the satellite communications system that it is developing to expand the scope of its services in more than 25 countries.
Sulaiman Al Ali, CEO of Commercial Affairs at Space 42, said in a statement to the Emirates News Agency, WAM, on the sidelines of the GITEX Global 2025 exhibition, that “Thuraya-4” is an important step within the company’s strategy to build an advanced satellite communications infrastructure, pointing to the success in completing the assembly of the Foresight 3,4,5 satellites inside the UAE in preparation for their launch, within the project It aims to establish a system of seven radar satellites.
He explained that “Space42” today has more than 14 products and technical solutions dedicated to the commercial sectors and national security, pointing out that the company is displaying during its participation in the exhibition a model of a car developed for autonomous transportation in cooperation with “A2Z”, which allows the conversion of traditional vehicles into self-driving cars with an advanced level of safety that exceeds current standards in the market.
