Dubai, 15 October / WAM / Today, the Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA) highlighted the next generation of regulatory services, which focus on ease of access, transparency, and open data, and place them at the heart of the UAE’s financial regulatory framework, during its participation in “GITEX Global 2025”.
This step comes as part of the Authority’s efforts in its digital transformation journey, and is in line with the UAE’s national strategy to provide advanced and comprehensive government services.
His Excellency Walid Al Awadhi, CEO of the Securities and Commodities Authority, said that the digital transformation in the Authority constitutes a true translation of the UAE’s vision towards an innovative, flexible government that is close to everyone, and that the Authority is working, by employing advanced technologies, such as open data and artificial intelligence, and redesigning its digital platform, to develop a regulatory framework that keeps pace with changes and enhances confidence in the market environment, indicating that this transformation It not only improves services, but also improves the efficiency of supervision and control.
During GITEX Global 2025, the Authority will display two prototypes based on artificial intelligence technologies, highlighting the role of advanced technology in enhancing investor interaction, developing market oversight tools, and highlighting the new and innovative design of its digital platform.
The prototype of the virtual assets monitoring system, developed using digital supervision techniques “SupTech”, embodies the advanced capabilities of modern control tools, in supporting proper accession processes and continuous monitoring of virtual asset service providers, by employing artificial intelligence, which allows investigations to be conducted smoothly and efficiently.
The Smart Investor Assistant, developed using MS Azure Cognitive services, provides an interactive tool that allows investors to verify entities and individuals licensed by the Authority, in addition to seamless access to regulatory information, via a bilingual voice and text interface.
The website complements these innovations by improving the user experience in browsing, searching, and understanding market data. The service titles and descriptions have been reformulated to increase clarity, and the content in both languages has been improved to ensure accuracy and consistency. The new platform also enhances ease of access to information and consolidates market transparency.
Ease of access to services was an essential element in redesigning the platform, to ensure providing a barrier-free experience for all users.
In accordance with the UAE Design System 2.0 (DLS 2.0) standards, the website added features that enhance the comprehensiveness of the Authority’s digital services for People of Determination, such as converting text to speech, the ability to modify font and contrast settings, and improved designs for mobile devices and tablets.
