The smart traffic violations system monitors 5 violations

The Dubai Police General Command displayed, through its platform at the GITEX Global 2025 exhibition held at the Dubai World Trade Center, the integrated smart traffic violations system that works without human intervention, monitors 5 types of violations, records them via live broadcast, and provides an immediate analysis of the level of traffic compliance.
Visitors to the Dubai Police platform were briefed on the integrated system whose operation is based on artificial intelligence and intelligent data analysis, and was developed to be a unified platform for issuing violations accurately and quickly, without human intervention.

In this context, Lieutenant Engineer Ahmed Al Hammadi explained that the system aims to raise the efficiency of field performance in traffic police operations, and improve the quality of traffic decisions by automating field procedures and providing human resources to direct efforts towards more strategic tasks.
He stated that the system is considered smarter, fairer and more efficient, contributes to enhancing traffic safety, and supports Dubai’s vision of a “smart, safe city.”
Types of violations
For her part, Reem Mohammed Ahmed explained that the system monitors five types of violations: not wearing a seat belt, being distracted from the road using a mobile phone, obstructing traffic, standing in the middle of the road without justification, and not leaving enough distance between vehicles.
Real-time analysis of the level of commitment
Reem Mohammed Ahmed explained that the system displays a live transmission of monitored vehicle data and the number of violations issued, allowing an immediate and accurate analysis of the level of traffic compliance in the city.
She continued, “The system also provides detailed statistics for the number of vehicles per hour, day, and year on various roads in the Emirate of Dubai, which enables the concerned authorities to make decisions based on realistic and updated data that supports smart traffic planning and rapid response.”
